The Gfohlerhof is situated at 1,050 meters in St. Leonhard near Brixen, on the Plose mountain, a tranquil spot nestled between forest, meadows, and the fresh mountain air. Here, two worlds meet: the traditional life on the farm with its animals, crafts, and farm-fresh specialties – and the serene clarity of slow living, yoga, and sound. In our two apartments, you’ll find space to leave everyday life behind, unwind, explore forest trails, and reconnect with yourself – all while enjoying sweeping views across the Eisack Valley.

We have been running the Gfohlerhof in St. Leonhard for over 130 years in the 5th generation. Our aim is to keep our cattle in a species-appropriate manner. animals, in the natural and sustainable management of our meadows and forests and in the respectful and careful use of our resources so that future generations can also experience the abundance of our wonderful nature.
